Activating PhishER’s DKIM Signatures:
The procedures listed below will enable your DKIM Signatures in PhishER:
1. To access the Settings page, first open the PhishER platform.
2. Visit the email server.
3. Tailor the Email Server configuration and turn on the DKIM Signature toggle. You can see the Signing Domain(s) and the Selector from your KSAT Account Settings page once you enable the toggle.
Click Save.
Using Personalized DKIM Signatures:
You can modify the signing domain to suit your organization’s requirements after DKIM signatures are enabled.
1. Proceed to PhishER after logging into your KnowBe4 account.
2. Navigate to the Email Server page by clicking the Settings icon.
3. Select Add Custom Signing Domain from the Configure DKIM section.
- Select the domain that you want to use. A domain must first be added to your KnowBe4 account as an Allowed Domain in order for it to appear in this drop-down menu.
- Enable Custom Signing Domain will appear once you click Add.
- Copy the values and host name that appear in the pop-up window.
- Open your DNS provider’s website and add a TXT record with the copied data.
Note: To confirm that your DNS provider has accepted the TXT record, click the Validate the DNS TXT record button. - Choose the domains for which you wish to use the new DKIM record after creating the TXT record with your DNS provider.
